There is a page on this site about the yaminaamane leaks, and I am regularly asked why I would draw attention to it. The attention already exists and none of it was written by me.
The word is doing unearned work
A leak means something private escaped. Nothing under my name was private. All of it was published by me, to people who chose to pay for it, and copied afterwards.
Calling it a leak makes it sound like a single dramatic event. It is a slow trade, and everything in it is months old before it surfaces.
Somebody is going to answer the question
If a person searches that phrase they will land somewhere. I would rather it was somewhere accurate that tells them the folders are empty and the surveys are scams.
Leaving the phrase entirely to aggregators means their version is the only version available.
What I will not do
I am not going to pretend it does not happen and I am not going to perform being destroyed by it. It is old material, much of it is not me, and this page exists so the answer is written down once.
It stays up because the question keeps arriving. This is just the long form of the answer.
